Last Season Recap:

Flying feels like dancing to me, every move needs to be in perfect harmony. That ballad in the sky captivated me from the moment I took my first seaplane ride as a kid. I was hooked. By the time I was 15, I knew I wanted to make aviation my life. Time seemed to stand still when I was in the air, and I realized that flying wasn’t just something I wanted to do, it was who I was meant to be.

But getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. I faced challenges that tested my resilience and dedication. During my training, I had two schools close on me mid-program, forcing me to pivot, adapt, and learn in different environments and aircraft at a moment’s notice. It was a lot to handle, but I refused to let those obstacles ground me. Those experiences shaped me into the pilot I am today—resourceful, adaptable, and always ready to take on whatever challenge comes next.

My defining moment came when I sat in the captain’s seat for my first professional flying job in the PC-12. It was a feeling like no other—knowing that every struggle, every late night studying, and every unexpected detour had led me to that moment. But my journey isn’t just about achieving my own goals—it’s about helping others reach theirs too.

One of my biggest inspirations is Doug Combs, one of my original mentors. When I was living in Phoenix, Doug taught me that giving back isn’t just something you do when you have time—it’s a way of life. He instilled in me the belief that “what you get is what you give,” and that lesson has stayed with me ever since. That’s why I’ve been mentoring aspiring pilots for over 4 years and consulting for 2 years. Nothing compares to the joy of watching someone I’ve guided soar—like my first-ever client who transitioned from a completely different career to becoming a major airline pilot in under three years. Her success reaffirmed my belief that anyone can become a pilot with the right guidance and determination.

Beyond the technical skills and flight hours, what keeps me grounded (ironically) is the feeling I get during those early morning flights—the quiet moments before the world wakes up, where the sun barely touches the horizon, and the air feels alive with possibility. Those flights don’t feel like work. They remind me why I fell in love with flying in the first place.

Next Season:

Today, with 2,000 flight hours under my belt, I’ve flown across every state in the US, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Canada, navigating everything from icing conditions and desert climates to strong winds and unpredictable weather. I’m also a Gold Seal instructor and an active member of EAA, AOPA, and NGPA, constantly giving back to the aviation community through mentorship and advocacy.

My ultimate goal? To become an international Gulfstream charter pilot and continue inspiring others to chase their dreams—because if I’ve learned one thing along the way, it’s that anyone can fly.
